FOUNDING:

On May 11, 2022, by Supernatural Athlete, Tommy Curtis, when his competitive Viking spirit required a greater level of challenge than his solo time in the headset.

While Ukeland was born out of a desire to compete with other Supernatural Athletes, it has become so much more. It is a community where meaningful relationships are built. A place to be held accountable to your unique goals. A support system for the good days and the bad. A place to celebrate achievements big and small, and also a place to receive comfort in challenging times. After all, if it happens to one of us, it happens to all of us.

We would be honored to have you join us and allow us to share in your journey.

WHY THE “UKE”?:

In need of a virtual champion’s belt to award winners, a community member stepped forward with a beautiful belt design. However, another community member remarked that the belt looked like a Ukulele and, thus, Supersnatch the Uke (now Ukeland) was born.

WHY THE EMU?

The Emu was selected as Ukeland’s mascot because, like our athletes, this flightless bird is strong, unique, and entertaining. We frequently award EMUs (Exceptionally Marvelous Ukers) during events for bravery, entertainment, and inspiration.
